A Chorus Call client in the mining sector was preparing to release a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), an important milestone in the development of its project. To maximize the impact of the announcement, the client wanted to host a virtual event that combined a conference call with an engaging visual presentation designed specifically for the mining industry.
Client Challenge
Traditional webcast presentations typically rely on static PowerPoint slides or straightforward video content. This client wanted to take a different approach by using an interactive, 3D-animated presentation created through VRIFY, a platform widely used throughout the mining industry.
The challenge was finding a way to incorporate the highly visual presentation into a professional investor event while still providing the accessibility and interaction expected from a formal conference call and moderated Q&A session.
Chorus Call Solution
Chorus Call presented the client with two integrated event formats designed to accommodate the unique presentation while providing different levels of audience interaction:
- Operator-Moderated Conference Call with Video Webcast: This format would combine the animated presentation with a traditional webcast experience, allowing the presentation to be displayed prominently or in full-screen mode. Presenters could also appear on video before and after their portions of the presentation. Webcast viewers could submit questions privately in writing, while conference call participants could ask questions verbally during a formal, operator-moderated Q&A session.
- Operator-Moderated Conference Call with Video Webinar: The second option offered a more interactive and conversational environment. Presenters could remain visible throughout the event while the fully animated presentation was shared with attendees. Both webinar and conference call participants could participate verbally in the Q&A, while webinar attendees also had the option to submit questions privately in writing. The client selected the webinar format to create a more engaging experience while maintaining the structure and professionalism of an operator-moderated investor event.
Impact
The event was successfully delivered and received highly positive feedback. They found the platform intuitive and appreciated the ability to bring their specialized VRIFY presentation to a larger audience while maintaining an interactive, moderated Q&A.
